Mercury Barometers usually cease to work because of bubbles and/or dirt getting into the mercury tube. Our Barometer restorers can clean the tube and replace the mercury and repair any other parts. All other aspects are checked and adjusted as required. Missing parts such as mirrors can be supplied and fitted.
Aneroid Barometers usually require a specialist clean and sometimes a complete overhaul. If there has been damage to the vacuum capsule, this can easily replaced.
